The announcement, on the 22nd of November, that Piaggio Aerospace wished to commence “extraordinary administration proceedings” with the Italian government has come as a shock to the business aviation industry. Piaggio’s request to be placed in receivership follows a cash injection of $308 million by the Abu Dhabi investment house Mubadala as part of its 2015 restructuring.

Whilst Piaggio continues to work on a strategy to secure its immediate and long term future Allaero are able to reassure Piaggio Owners, Operators and Maintenance facilities alike that we are still able to support all models of the P180 Avanti with one of the largest Piaggio Avanti inventory outside of the manufacturer. This stock includes both rotables and consumables from flying surfaces, to major systems, brakes, wheels to filters and expendables.
