The Phenom 100 emerged from a decision by Embrarer’s board of directors to harness the success of the Legacy 600 and develop a very light aircraft capable of rivalling the popular Cessna Mustang. By the 9th of November 2005, a full-scale mock-up of the EMB-500, later to be marketed as the Phenom 100, was revealed at the NBAA. Within two years the aircraft had flown for the first time with deliveries commencing on the 24th December 2008. Initially built at Embraer’s São José dos Campos facility, a second production line was started at Melbourne Florida which became the sole source of Phenom 100 and 300 aircraft from 2016.
In July 2022 Allaero became the largest independent Embraer Phenom 100 parts stockist in Europe, following the purchase of a complete Phenom 100 package of rotables.
